Inaugural Golf Outing at Merion Golf Club
PLEASE NOTE: Due to conditions caused by the spread of COVID-19, the Inaugural Golf Outing at Merion Golf Club has been postponed to summer 2021. If you have already purchased a foursome, your registration will automatically roll over and no further action is required of you. We hope to have a 2021 date confirmed in the near future. Haverford College is proud to present the Inaugural Golf Outing at Merion Golf Club, taking place on Monday, July 27. This day-long event, supporting Haverford Athletics, will give players exclusive access to the East Course, host to the 2013 U.S. Open and many other PGA events.
As a Haverford alumni athletes, you have the limited and unique opportunity to purchase a foursome for $5,000. This cost includes all meals, amenities, and gratuities, including:
- A continental breakfast, a full lunch, on-course refreshments, a cocktail hour, and a buffet dinner
- Professional caddies for each player in the foursome
- Access to the Club’s locker rooms
The College recognizes that these are unprecedented times for our community, and the world. We are eager to come together in an atmosphere of healthy competition when the risk of COVID-19 is behind us. It is our hope that this Outing can serve as something for members of the Haverford athletic community to look forward to.There are a very small number of foursomes available on a first-come, first-served basis. You do not need to have a complete foursome assembled in order to purchase; you can buy now and fill in your fellow golfers later. In the event that the Golf Outing is canceled for COVID-19 related reasons, anyone who has purchased a foursome will have their registration rolled over to next year's Golf Outing, at Merion Golf Club, in the summer of 2021.
