Dormitory rooms are available Thursday night through Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Classes are housed together. Within each room you will find bed linens, blankets, and two towels for each guest. You may want to bring additional towels, hangers, and an alarm clock. We remind alumni that these are dorm rooms as you remember them! Only single beds are available. One bed per room. Private baths are not available, but every room is air-conditioned.
Late spring in Haverford can be sunny and warm, or rainy and cold. You might want to pack an umbrella just in case. We remind all alumni to bring a sweater or jacket; although the days may be warm, the evenings can bring on a chill, and some events are outdoors.
Very casual! We want you to be comfortable and relaxed. You might want to bring recreational equipment with you as well, like a softball glove or Frisbee. Some classes like to dress up for the Saturday dinner, but for the most part anything goes.
We offer Friday breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and Sunday brunch to all alumni. On Saturday night, each reunion class has its own special class dinner. Restricted diets can be accommodated; please indicate restrictions when you register.
Please come directly to the Whitehead Campus Center Registration Desk to check in and receive your Haverford College Reunion tote bag and any updated class-specific information. If you are staying in the dormitories for the weekend, you will receive your room key and housing assignment at this time. The Registration Desk is open 24 hours a day, Thursday through Saturday.
Yes! Alumni with young children may bring sleeping bags for them to “camp” in the room. There is no charge for young campers, but please indicate how many will stay overnight. In addition, children ages 3—13 are invited to join HaverCamp, Saturday’s daylong camp session. Activities include a nature walk, games, arts and crafts, and a trip to the family carnival. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide care for children under the age of three, or for children who are not potty-trained.
An enthusiastic team of students helps make our reunions extra special. Students are assigned to work at most events and will lead campus tours. All student workers are happy to talk and answer any questions you might have.
